A Heartfelt Thank You for a Fantastic Santa Fun Run at Dorney Lake!

Setting off before the weather changed its mind.

What a day to remember! Despite a less-than-perfect weather forecast, so many of you braved the conditions and made your way to Dorney Lake for a day of fun, laughter, and community spirit at our Santa Fun Run.

The event brought together people of all ages, from our inspiring 82-year-old participant to the tiniest runners—and even some enthusiastic four-legged friends! It was a joy to see so many smiling faces and wagging tails taking part.

The creativity on display was really fun, with participants sporting festive and imaginative costumes. The kids were thrilled to meet Santa, Elsa, Captain America, and Spiderman, who added a touch of magic to the day.

A special shoutout goes to the Dorney Boat Club kids, who got into the festive spirit in their reindeer costumes. They took to the rowing machines to raise an amazing £200 for our charity—what an effort!

The atmosphere was made even more festive by a wonderful choir, formed especially for the occasion. Their beautiful Christmas carols really added to the atmosphere.

Thankfully, the weather held long enough for us to complete the run before the wind and rain arrived. We all left with happy hearts, knowing we had spent the day doing something meaningful and enjoying fantastic company.
